Delete your Moody account
You can permanently delete your account and associated data directly in the Moody app.

How to delete your account in the app
- Open the Settings tab in the app.
- Choose Privacy and data deletion.
- Under Whole account, choose Delete account.
- Review the confirmation and confirm deletion.
After successful completion, the app signs you out and clears local Moody data from the device. Deletion cannot be undone.
What is deleted
- your Supabase Auth account and Moody profile;
- journal entries, answers, reflections, moods, tags, chapters, stories, and their links;
- stored AI analyses, AI settings, and the AI-processing confirmation record;
- photos and their metadata; the server verifies removal from storage before completing deletion;
- the Moody database subscription record and RevenueCat customer profile;
- local app data on the device, including the PIN, biometric setting, onboarding draft, and local cache.
Independent providers may retain limited records they are legally or legitimately required to keep, such as Google Play transaction history. If you use an anonymous account without a linked email and lose access, support may be unable to verify that the account belongs to you.
Google Play subscription
Deleting your Moody account does not automatically cancel an active subscription managed by Google Play. Manage or cancel the subscription separately in Google Play.
If you cannot sign in
Contact support, preferably from the email address linked to your account. Never send your password or Moody PIN. To protect your data, we may ask for reasonable verification that you own the account.
